BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) literally means “Bring your own device,” as it's a solution that allows users to connect their own electronic devices, such as a PC, smartphone, or tablet, to the interactive screen on the same network. These solutions focus on connectivity and compatibility between devices, enabling collaborators to easily share their screens and regain touch control for complete control over the displayed content.
BYOM (Bring Your Own Meeting) goes beyond simply using your own device to encompass the organization and management of remote meetings. This solution allows you to integrate all the room's audiovisual equipment, such as cameras, microphones, and speakers, with a centralized interactive screen. Once your devices are connected via BYOM, you can manage the playback of your content and audio from your computer or directly on the screen, ensuring a seamless experience whether participants are physically present or attending remotely.
BYOM's professional solution for video conferencing

Once installed, a code will appear on the screen; enter this code on your computer, making sure both are connected to the same network. Then, you'll be able to share your PC screen with the interactive display, or vice versa, while retaining touch functionality. Bytello Share can share up to 9 screens simultaneously, allowing you to project the entire team's ideas onto the interactive display. It's the ideal solution for teachers to project prepared lessons and presentations, and for professionals organizing spontaneous and quick meetings.

By connecting the transmitter to your PC via HDMI, you instantly send an image to the receiver, which then transmits it to the interactive display in 4K broadcast quality. If you work with multiple interactive displays, this kit is easily expandable, as one HDMI Replication Kit is equivalent to one interactive display.

4. The Coin Coin Mini and USB Mirroring Case
Faced with the limitations of HDMI cables that are too short, sometimes in larger rooms, and the complexity of installing software on a PC, we developed a practical alternative solution with the Coin Coin mirroring box. We offer two versions of Coin Coin: mini or USB, which differ in their connectors. For both BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) options, you simply plug the receiver into your interactive display and the transmitter into the device of your choice, wherever it is in the room, and your image will be displayed without the need for software installation or long cables that can hinder movement. Furthermore, you automatically retain the touchscreen functionality and your images in 4K resolution.
While the Coin Coin Mini requires two connections (one to the screen and the other to the PC), the Coin Coin USB requires only one connection, provided your device supports USB-C. Otherwise, we recommend the Coin Coin Mini mirroring box.
